Ok, this picture is fulfilling a request made by ~akari-jaganashi quite a long time ago just before I entered my overloaded by school period....which was like....march @_@ My apologies for the lateness! I hope you like the picture~~~

The request was for his original character Hiyori Murakamo to be dancing with Keiko Yukimura (from yuu yuu hakusho) to the Savage Garden song "Carry on Dancing." After listening to the song...I pictured dancing through space...but they don't really look like they're dancing in the picture do they? ^^;

For this picture...I used photoshop 6.0 (that's all I've got T_T) and my always trusty mouse to color the picture after drawing the lineart with pencil and paper. I did a lot of experimenting and tried using the smudge tool for the first time. Sadly I never even knew the tool existed until I randomly clicked on the tools in the toolbar. ^^; saaad isn't it? Learning something new every day Oooo ho ho ho ho ho...

Full size doesn't seem to want to load for me...
However from the smaller view this still looks amazing, excellent colours and the pose is perfect :)

xD I SPOT SMUDGETOOL! *batts at Ha-chan for it xP* smudge is cheeeeeap! but you used it well <3 hehehe I love this, very.... curcular? for want of a better word, DAMN my feeble brain x_x; it looks like it would be comfortable for them to continue dancing? *eats the english language* >:3

Ehehehehhe yes yes it was very cheap but i think i got it out of my system XD i was just having fun with it since i was trying it out for the first time :P teehehhe~~ but yay for anguished english bleah....

wow...i really like this.

composition kicks bum and i want to eat those clouds they're dancing on. so...flowy...mm. i do like the soft hues, too. and the way her head is tilted back.

don't worry, i use photoshop the same way. "ohh, what does THIS button do....??" ^^
